| Introduction | I was born in Florida and lived there for the first twenty years of my life. College baseball afforded me an opportunity to attend the University of Kentucky. During this time, I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ, and He transformed my sinful heart. To serve the Lord has been the most fulfilling pursuit I have ever known. Not life without problems, but life with purpose and satisfaction, meaning and hope. I met my wife, Gwynne, during my college years with both of us just coming to terms with what it meant to be a Christ-follower. We will be married 22 years this July 09. What a joy to be married to such a faithful wife! God has blessed us with five children. I don't have fatherhood all figured out. My children keep me humble and prayerful. From Kentucky, we moved to New Orleans to attend seminary. We began praying that God would lead us to a church where we could invest our lives in a people. God has answered that prayer in FBC Gonzales. This year we finish our sixteenth year. What a great Church! I love these people! I have no other ministry aspirations or ladders to climb. My passion is to see Christ glorified in this local Body of believers. |
