Introduction	Frans Obon was born in Manggarai, West Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. He studied philosophy and theology at Ledalero, Maumere, Flores. He is a journalist of Flores Pos daily based in Ende, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. Since 1997 he has written for Union Catholic Asia News (UCAN) Hongkong. He also teachs logic and basic writings at STPM Santa Ursula Ende and Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Atma Reksa Ende, and introduction of philosophy and philosophy of education at university of Flores based in Ende, Flores.
