Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
That makes absolutely no sense. I'm all for anthropomorphizing words, but why would that make them misspelled? Who gives water to a misspelled word anyway? This is most counterproductive and I cannot approve it.
