| Introduction | I come from the land of bible thumping conservatives eating biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, okra and fried green tomatoes. Fried shrimp baskets with hushpuppies, a pecan pie made with Karo syrup, and pimento cheese made with Duke's mayonnaise. I've gone from liberal in my 20's to conservative in my 40s and I currently consider myself slightly left of center. I have also gone from eating all those amazing foods regularly to eating them once in a blue moon. Life has been an evolution, hopefully in a positive direction. Join me |
