| Introduction | My name is Paolo Coluzzi, I am Italian and I am at present teaching Tai Chi in Granada (Spain). I moved here with my family at the end of 2024, after 17 years spent in Southeast Asia. Reading, writing, Tai Chi, travelling and, last but not least, Buddhism have been my main interests for many years. While living and working in Brunei and Malaysia, I travelled extensively around Asia. As far as Buddhism is concerned, I have read extensively about this religion/philosophy, especially Theravada Buddhism, since I was 17 years old. It is particularly since I came to Asia, though, that I have started reading and practicing more assiduously, meditating, following Dharma talks given by renown monks and experts and joining a few meditation retreats. From this point of view Malaysia is an ideal country, as Buddhism is the second largest religion and opportunities to experience Buddhism in many different ways (and mostly in English) are plenty. I have also obtained a diploma from the University of Harvard after following one of its online courses on Buddhism and its Scriptures. I also contribute regularly to the BMV Digest, the most read Buddhist magazine in Malaysia. |
