Introduction | Who am I? A twice married woman, happily married 35 years to my soul-mate. I'm "Mom" to 4 terrific adults, 2 great kids-in-law. I'm the devoted grandmother to 3 of the very finest girls in the world. I'm owned by a tuxedo cat named Meadow her brother Windy and aseveral goldfish all named Sam. I'm grandma to several more cats; and tow pooches -- Bowie and Max. I've fostered several kids in years past and was temporary mom to 3 exchange students. In fact, our German daughter from other parents and her own family, is still part of ours. I'm a sexagenarian hippie and a tarot reader trading as Dragonfly Tarot. Also founded "Old Fogey Art CoOp" to encourage other seniors in artistic endeavors. I am a watercolorist and have won several local awards for my work. I was also chosen to paint the 2012 Jean Rohrer Kohr award. I write fiction/nonfiction, poetry, and have become an amateur photography aficionado. I've read tea leaves and tarot cards since childhood. |
Interests | everything..family, people, art & literature, other cultures. I greatly enjoy reading, cooking, debating and museum-going. I love learning about other cultures and views. I'm a strong supporter of human rights world wide and I believe we need to right wrongs whenever possible. I'm a devotee of the "green" life, and enjoy recycling, thrift shopping, and of course, gardening and watching birds and other species of wildlife -- even reptiles & insects -- as long as they stay outside! |
