Introduction	3 Roads Productions is a company founded by three women with a common love of storytelling through performance. We believe that any performed event takes place at the point where three kinds of artistic participation converge. First is the creative act, which brings forth a story from the imagination of a writer or composer. Next is the interpretive act, through which the collaboration between performers, directors and designers will breathe life into the story. And finally, the receptive act, where the audience enhances the story by viewing it through the cultural, political and personal prisms of their own lives. By altering any one of these three elements, we change the work of art itself. Therefore, 3 Roads Productions is dedicated to both the performance of new original texts, and the introduction of classic works to new audiences. We are also committed to giving support to female voices in all creative areas, with the hope that one day the representation of women in the arts will reflect the percentage of women in the population as a whole.
