| Introduction | I am opening a new business called Yooperscribe. This business will provide proofreading and editing services. My background includes a 25-year career in social services, massage therapy, writing, and part-time office assisting. I have one dog, one cat, and live in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. The name for the business? People who are native to Michigan's Upper Peninsula (or U.P., for short) proudly call themselves Yoopers. Although I did not grow up here, I have made it my home. Woods, lakes, changing seasons, friendly people...why would I want to go anywhere else? |
