Introduction	Platform 9 3/4 is, of course, the spot in London’s King’s Cross station where a famous boy-wizard boards a train to school--and to a world of deep magic and deep meaning, a world that is finer and truer (and much more dangerous) than the Muggle world this side of the platform. As a writer and teacher who believes in the world of the imagination and aspires to nurture that belief in myself and others, I offer this space as a gathering place for creative recovery and a boarding place for many journeys of the mind and soul.
