| Introduction | Tim is Manager of Temporary and Travelling Exhibitions at the South Australian Museum in Adelaide and coordinator of the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize, one of Australia’s richest art competitions. Born and raised in Adelaide, his father’s work opportunities allowed the family to live in other parts of Australia and also in the USA where he attended kindergarten in California. Tim completed his secondary and tertiary studies in Adelaide obtaining a BA from Flinders University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Communications from the University of South Australia. Tim’s professional background is in Public Relations and he spent many years working in PR consultancies before beginning at the South Australian Museum as its publicist. Tim has managed the museum’s program of temporary and travelling exhibitions since late 2005. A keen traveller, Tim has lived and worked in London and travelled through Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Outside of work he enjoys relaxing with friends and family over a glass of wine, going to concerts, reading, and maintaining his 1880s bluestone home. |
