About me

Gender Female
Occupation Costume historian and designer
Location Vermont, United States
Introduction I have been studying this period for many years, and I did my bachelors degree in Victorian history and costume design, designing three dresses from each main period of artistic dress: Pre-Raphaelite, Aesthetic and the Bloomsbury period. I am fascinated by the amazing outpouring of beauty that happened over 80 years. My pantheon of immortals is large, including many of those mentioned in my interests. I am a lady scholar of independent means who travels to Britain as often as I can convince my Significant Other to go with me. I have an ancient cat named Rosie and I live in a beautiful tiny house filled with arts and crafts things, and I try very hard to have things in my house that I "either know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."

How do you pronounce the 'g' in bologna?

Silently. If I were pronouncing the name of the city it's named after, it would be silent as well, but would give a little "y" sound after the "n", sounding like "bolonya".
