Introduction	I've been training in the Doshinkan style of Aikido since January 2007 under the tutelage of Yukio Utada Shihan. In January 2012 we relocated to North County San Diego, CA where I opened up an affiliate school, Encinitas Aikido, and teach both children and adult classes weekly. While incorporating training in my daily life, I found that many resources for women aikidoka on the internet do not exist. I designed a blog with the hopes of creating a space for women who train to share ideas, insights, ask questions and post pictures and videos. I hope to treat the blog as an online diary of my training and the relationship aikido has with my life. So stay tuned! Enjoy!
