| Introduction | I have a B.M.Ed from Baldwin Wallace College and a M.Ed in Early Childhood from John Carroll University. I currently have two teaching licenses in Ohio, Music K-12 and P-3rd grade. With over 10 years of professional musical experience as a music educator, performer, recording musician, author and developer, I am ALWAYS ready for a new challenge. My involvement with Spark the Mind LLC, began in 2006 with a conversation with Co-founder, Alex Nesmith. Since then I have been using the Smart Shorties Multiplication songs with several of my classes. In 2009, I recorded a track with my sixth grade students, Dividing Mixed Numbers, that will appear on the upcoming fractions album. Summer of 2011, I composed a Language Arts piece for the second edition of the student workbook. Fall of 2011, I completed Smart Shorties Interactive Math, Volume 1, which received 14 Premium Accreditation titles from SMART technologies. |
