About me

Gender Female
Occupation Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Location Illinois, United States
Introduction I am self taught; my work has been called "healing" and "spiritual." I do only handwork: intricate embroidery, beading, applique, and quilting. Most of my life has been about service, spiritual and emotional growth, conquering fears, letting go/let it be. My spiritual values have been rules to live by, not things to believe. I feel that what I've lived and learned passes into my work. I love to talk and laugh and think and learn--I have a great sense of humor and dark wit--a source of great enjoyment and of survival. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a mental health therapist. I have two adult children, both of whom have turned out to be people I like, as well as people I love. Now that they take care of themselves, I am making things and playing with art, just as I dreamed of doing as a child.
