| Introduction | I know that I will be updating this soon-ish. I just finished creating this blog and publishing the first post. I want you to know that I am in for the long haul. I am at a new phase of making the personal political. Yesterday I heard a wonderful woman named Alex speak of her involvement in Idle No More. Many of the things she said moved me. One in particular moved me to action. She said if her body and mind has no sovereignty, neither can her nation. Amen, sister. Thank you for waking me up. As long as I sit by and allow FAT PHOBIA to push through my life, I cannot be truly free enough to co-create this socially just world of which I dream. |
