| Introduction | Incision is comprised of a group of medical students working across international borders to raise awareness of global surgery. In 2015, the Lancet Global Health Commission estimated that five billion people lack access to safe and affordable surgical and anaesthesia care. In order to address this need, our group focuses on three goals: advocacy, research, and education related to global surgery. Our group is always welcome to new members.
