Introduction	I've always been a heavy-set girl. Always the one to give you a laugh and crack jokes about my "bigness". I was raised to be very independent, loud-mouthed and spunky, which I thought always made up for the fact that I was overweight. Luckily, very early on I met the man who is now my husband and had two boys with him. They are my life and love me no matter what, but I felt like I was holding them and myself back. So, at 24 years old, I started the Lap Band Journey. My plan is that by my 25th birthday in November, I will be out of the "Obese" Category and into a smaller pair of jeans.
