| Introduction | I am a freelance journalist, editor and media professional based in Berlin. After completing a BA in African Languages and Cultures at SOAS, London, and an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism, I moved to Australia for a year before settling in Berlin. I have written reports from Australia, Tanzania, Senegal, Mali, Germany, Italy, France and the UK. My work has appeared in the Independent, the Age, The Africa Report, the Week, Spiegel Online, The African Courier, New African, BBC Focus on Africa Magazine, Swiss Magazine, the I and Middle East Magazine. I speak French, English, Italian and Spanish fluently and have working Swahili, German and Portuguese too.
