Introduction Hi. I'm a writer based in Yorkshire, though I lived in South London for eleven years and I've also lived in Northamptonshire and Greater Manchester. I was awarded a Distinction for my MA in Creative Writing with the Open University in 2020. I'm working on a novel about students and teachers in a sixth form, and also on a children's fantasy novel. I also write short stories and poems. In 2020, I won First Prize in the Mere Literary Festival Poetry Prize, and my story 'The Fish Tree' came First in the Arts Quarterly Prize. My work has been published in many literary magazines, both in print and online, including Agenda, Acumen, Bandit, Goat's Milk, Iota, Dreamcatcher, Fire, Obsessed With Pipework, Popshots, Tears In The Fence, Pushing Out The Boat, and South. Most recently my work has appeared in Makarelle, POTB, River and South, Punk Noir, Pine Cone Review, Fieldstone Review, 805, and The English Review, among others.
