| Introduction | I'm a wife and mother of five beautiful children who constantly keep me adding to the depletion of the ozone by shuttling them to and from tennis, soccer, dance, and guitar...with ice cream stops in between just for good measure. I enjoy writing as a form of release and I hope that this blog serves as a source of reflection and laughter for many. |
| Interests | I enjoy going on long shopping treks with the girls (my little girls, that is) to buy clothes, doing 'girly' things like getting my nails done, watching my son play baseball, listening to my children roar in laughter, and hearing my husband whisper sweet nothings in my ear. Heaven on earth is being with my family, sitting at the dinner table, and hearing everyone share something important that happened in their day. If I could bottle these moments in time and place them on a shelf I would so that I could open them back up periodically to see how my children have developed and matured. Our time together is so short while we are roaming this earth--children grow so quickly and adults age at rates that are unfathomable. I like to live my life with this in mind and remember to spend each breath I take with the people whom I cherish. |
| Favorite Movies | I don't really watch a lot of movies, but my favorites are Mr. Holland's Opus, Good Will Hunting, and The Notebook. I'm more of a television watcher and like to lay in bed after the kids go to sleep and snuggle up to Jon while watching American Idol, Law and Order SVU, or a crime drama/ reality show. |
| Favorite Music | My musical interests vary as I enjoy listening to country, classic rock, top 40 hits, and some 80's hair bands. |
| Favorite Books | I've never been much of a reader--I think I'm undiagnosed ADD so short stories and poetry have always been more my speed....I love O.Henry and have always been a fan of Emily Dickinson. |
