Introduction	I am Mum to Alice and Ben, wife to Michael, an Army Wife, a librarian, a part time runner, a creator of stuff I don't much like and I am also a ....Gourmand! 1. A lover of good food. 2. A gluttonous eater. That's me! Well that WAS me.. until life changed three years ago, when I developed a serious and life threatening allergy to nuts. No more meals out, no more takeaways, and oh the loss of Chinese food! So this blog will feature my attempts to rediscover my 'inner pig' though home cooking. I will not be denied yummy cakes! Oh yes, there might be some book recommendations, updates on my appalling running efforts and a look at my homemade jewellery too.
