| Interests | I love to shop. It is so much a part of me and who I am. Friends love to go shopping with me because I will always give you my true opinion. I can tell you how a fabric will hold up, which colors are best, and which style to suit your body. I have been known to style a stranger at the mall and there are several people who work at my favorite stores that think I am a stylist by trade. ;) shhh...our secret! I also love to spend time at the spa. I believe every woman deserves to be pampered! I have a hard time winding down and relaxing but that doesn't deter me from frequent spa days. I also love to cook and to seek out new, inventive recipes. I am not one for hugely complicated meals, but feel simplistic cuisine is an art. I also have a love for beauty. I do freelance hair and makeup for friends or friends of friends. I love to try new beauty products and give advice on makeup application. Travelling is a passion that I wish I did more of, but I frequently take mini-breaks and try to have at least one tropical vacation a year. I lived in Japan for a year and a half. I have a great love of different cultures and ways of life. Interior decor and design is a raw point of interest for me. There are some aspects that I am very drawn to, and then others that I simply don't understand. I want a home that is comfortable and lived in. I cannot compromise on that. :) I think I am a girls girl, and an average girl. We all love the same things don't we?! |
