| Introduction | Matthew Halsted created this blog to promote relevant discussion on things that pertain to theology, philosophy, worldview, and culture. While there are many worldviews and religious belief systems that are predominate in today's culture, Christianity is ultimately what is true and right for all people everywhere. In short, theology matters. What one believes about the nature of the Triune God and His mission to save His people (i.e., the Gospel) will ultimately influence both the thoughts and actions of the believer or unbeliever. Matthew holds degrees in both International Studies and Philosophy. He is currently a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity with a concentration in New Testament Exegesis and Exposition.
