| Introduction | the peppermint arts collective was founded september 2007. birthed out of a need for more creative spaces and hubs in philadelphia, we decided that we should adhere to a prolific statement made by MAHATMA GHANDI ---WE BECAME THE CHANGE WE WANTED TO SEE IN THE WORLD. the collective consists of 8 artists from Philadelphia & New York City. with platforms including literacy [with cultural literacy amongst it], restoration of the black arts community,advocating clever [but organic artistic expression]--we aim to spread the message that is more than just "ART FOR ART'S SAKE"...it is art for the sake of the present and the future. we love TECHNICOLOR dreams just as much as the next coolnik...but we should use some of that light and shed that on the state of humanity. we hope that you can connect to us in some capacity. because we want to connect to you.*** "...WE ARE SIMPLY THE MEDIUM." |
