| Introduction | I'm a New Zealander transplanted in Tokyo, where I live with my Japanese DH and three kids (one boy and two girls) and three useless but very cute cats. I currently survive on 4 hours sleep a night and make up the rest in the train on the way to work. I am great at volunteering for stuff and then wish I hadn't--I can't say 'no'. But once I take something on, I usually do a pretty good job on it. I am a single mum during the week as my DH lives away from us, and only comes home on weekends. But I manage OK. I'm used to standing on my own two feet. This is my first attempt at a blog, and I hope it will be of interest to some people! I called this blog 'Alien Mama' cos 1) I love the Aliens movies and collect anyting to with them (Colonial Marines are my area of interest), and 2) Foreigners in Japan are known as 'aliens'! So, that is enough about me for now. I hope you like this blog. |
