Introduction	I'm a riding instructor and I help Nola with all the horses we have in training at RO-NO Ranch. It's a varied and fascinating job, ever changing with the horses that come in each couple of months. It teaches you to stand back and evaluate each horse as an individual. The trick is to figure out what his issues are, and how best to advance his training. My husband Mike and I live in Newfoundland PA. I spend most of my spare time riding and hanging out with my horse Monty and also have a Border Collie, Lexie. I really enjoy teaching and try to be inspirational and imaginative with my students. I try to set goals for them (and for me!) and to promote old fashioned 'horsemanship'. As someone who had to 'make' every horse I ever had, I like to help folks appreciate and take care of their horses. I came up through the strict British Horse Society teaching system, and boy do we know how to groom a horse to perfection, wrap a leg just so, design a fitness program or treat an illness/lameness! I'm originally from Cornwall, England and am very proud of my Cornish roots. However, I wouldn't trade living here...as a horse person you can't go wrong in the Good Old USA!
