Introduction	Julie Silber, grew up on the beaches of Southern California. She held her first swim record at age 10, played beach & varsity volleyball in high school and participated in numerous ocean swim competitions. At USC, Julie was first a walk-on on the swim team and then became a varsity rower, winning the athletic department's Trojan Spirit Award and captained the USC Women's Crew. Julie also helped found the USC Tri Club, starting her on a 20+ year racing career. A well respected member of the triathlon community, Julie has enjoyed numerous top 10 finishes, a few podium visits and finished Ironman Canada despite getting stung by a bee (and the subsequent allergic reaction) during the bike. During her 5 years with Triathletix, the coaching company gor the LA Tri Club, she became a rounded certified triathlon coach, helped develop the corporate tri training program for Herbalife, helped produce a set of instructional DVDs on triathlon training, grow and expand the company and discovered her passion for helping others attain their athletic goals. Julie is also a single mom, a sucessful businesswoman and a writer.
