| Introduction | Born in Panaji-Goa (India) in August 1981, Chandan D. N. Gaonkar’s sheer pleasure to practice painting and photography had developed at young age when he was in school, step by step it became his passion. His fascination for this medium led him to explore various aspects of photography. He has earned numerous laurels, He has to his credit many group exhibitions in different cities of India and abroad. He has got a many awards at state, national and international level photography contest and exhibitions. He is among a few in India, who have been honored with coveted Licentiate of India International Photographic Council, New Delhi in Pictorial Photography section. Photography for him is a medium of self expression; he believes that beauty is everywhere but how we see and portray it is important. Besides photography he also loves to do sketching, painting, traveling and reading. |
