| Introduction | I graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 1972 and married Diane the next day (she also graduated). We then spent the next three years at Harding University Graduate School of Religion where I earned by M.Th. degree. After a brief time in Temple, TX the Livonia church sent us to Kisumu, Kenya to serve as their missionaries. For the next twelve years I was involved in church planting and leadership training in rural Kenya. Diane was having babies but also became involved in teaching women in the churches. We both learned Swahili. In 1989 we moved to Nairobi and worked there eleven years. We helped plant the Komo Rock Church of Christ and I taught at the Nairobi Great Commission School. We returned to the States in 2000 and we have been working with the Livonia congregation to the present. |
