Introduction	About Me... Twenty-something mama who puts her preemie boy first and foremost, and I am trying to adjust to fitting myself in the equation too. Started my weight-loss Journey in May of 2010, shortly after D turned 1. Working on trying new challenges, and learning just what I can do! I started running in June, and haven't quit yet! Married 3+ years to my high-school sweetheart and realizing life is never as it is planned. I just try to take life as it comes, while still enjoying the ride and trying to define myself as an individual, a wife, and now, a mom. Weakness for chocolate and all things Type-A [except] being on time. Hates mornings, coffee and vegetables. Oh, and heads up. I abuse the ellipsis...like a lot... Due to our son's prematurity, he was diagnosed in July 2009 with Stage 4 ROP. He has since had 9 surgeries to try and correct, however it seems that one issue just leads to another, so we are waiting right now for a decision on how to proceed. As of 09/10, he has 1 eye with no lens and a scarred cornea, No usable vision until they make a change in the cornea. His other eye's anatomy is "normal" however vision is undetermined.
