| Introduction | Marian Boyer wrote fourteen staged plays before she published novels and short stories. Her first novel 'Het Engelentransport'(2001) was nominated for the Marten Toonder/Geert Jan Lubberhuizen award and the Vrouw & Kultuur debut award.Three of her plays were nominated for the Dutch Taalunie Playwrights Award.
