| Introduction | At the end of summer 2008 I finished my education degree, and in September I began my first year of teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed my position of teaching elementary French and grade one, and was blessed to work with a very supportive group of teachers. Now, after years of hoping to teach overseas, I will be spending the next two years teaching third grade in North Africa. I am really excited about the K-12 school where I will be teaching! It is a private international school with the vision of building up leaders of integrity in today’s “Global Village.” They are committed to providing students with a quality education based on the American curriculum and teaching values such as respect, compassion, integrity, excellence, and wisdom. The students receive instruction in three languages: English, Arabic, and FRENCH (whoo hoo!) During these next two years I expect to be challenged culturally, professionally, emotionally, and spiritually, but I know that this is an amazing opportunity and I am excited to see God at work in this.
