That can't really be a fish you're standing on, can it?
Indeed it is. I know, I know. It may look your average, run of the mill rug. But! This is an evolutionary adaptation, and a fascinating one at that. The rugfish has actually adapted its scales to look like a discarded throw rug! Isn't nature amazing?
