| Introduction | In 2006, I quit my job, sold my house and flew with my two little dogs and four suitcases in tow to France. I bought a car. Four months in France were followed by 19 across Spain, Italy, Austria, England, and Ireland. Work began on a historical novel set in Ireland, as well as a humorous tale of my travels, both still in production. I grew tired of living out of suitcases. I went back to the US for two months. That's when I knew I wanted something else, a simpler life. I decided on France despite no real language skills or job prospects. I began this blog on my adventures making a new life as a homeowner expat in central France. I hope you enjoy it! |
