Introduction	Dedicated teams of National Trust Rangers have been repairing and maintaining upland footpaths in the Lake District for over 25 years. The Central and Eastern Team operates in the valleys of Langdale, Grasmere, Windermere and Ullswater. Much of our work is made possible by donations, grants and legacies and is coordinated by Fix the Fells, a partnership led by the National Trust with the Lake District National Park Authority, Nurture Lakeland, Natural England, Cumbria County Council and Friends of the Lake District.
