| Introduction | A family from Oregon realizes their dream of spending a year in France. Follow their adventures and learn along with them. ----- Who we are: Rick: a teacher, real estate investor, avid skier, wannabe surfer, music lover. Wants to be conversational in French, and enjoy the fine French culture for which it is famous. Lisa: a psychiatrist (who has decided to shake things up), professional hula dancer and instructor, has been learning/speaking French for 30 years. This is her dream. Irie: 8 year old daughter, only child, curious and talented. Loves to dance, sing, draw, read, ski, play, and LOVES dogs. Will go to the local french elementary school. Maggie: 5 year old Norwegian Elkhound we adopted from the Pound as a puppy. Leaving: July 8, 2008. Return: July 3, 2009. |
