| Introduction | I am currently living in the San Francisco Zen Center, studying Buddhism. I am a produced playwright, an ordained minister, an English teacher, and a former social worker. I have worked with a variety of populations: inmates, teenage sex offenders, special needs students, gay, lesbian, and transgender youth, and drug addicts. The boring stuff: I hold a California Teaching Credential from California State University, Northridge; an M.A. in Playwriting from the University of New Mexico; a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusets; an AA from Northern Essex Community College, Haverhill, MA; a High School Diploma from Georgetown High School, MA; a fond memory of Penn Brook Elementary School, Georgetown, MA (Mrs. Salt was my favorite teacher); a slight resentment from Perley Elementary School, Georgetown, MA (Mrs. Ryan, my kindergarten teacher, never let us finger paint); and more fond memories from a Catholic day school in Beverly, MA, before we moved to Georgetown (This school had an indoor swimming pool and a circular balcony in the gym where we played intense games of Duck, Duck, Goose). I've lived in London, New Mexico, and Alaska. |
