| Introduction | I have always been fascinated with children, ever since I was one, myself. I still have so much to learn from them and am continually curious about how they think, learn and perceive the world. I enjoy reflecting with parents on their observations, discoveries, joys and struggles with their children. I live in the Santa Cruz mountains with my husband, dog, goat, chickens. | Interests | I consult with WestEd’s Program for Infant/Toddler Care and internationally with teachers, programs and parents. I co-developed the program and directed children’s centers at Google for 12 years and was an ECE Children's Center Teacher & Faculty at Cabrillo College for 30 years. I co-authored Becoming the Parent You Want to Be: A Sourcebook of Strategies for the First Five Years and authored From Parents to Partners: Building Family Centered Care in Early Childhood Programs (adopted by NAEYC) |
