| Introduction | Hello welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Lucy E M Hall. I have just completed my Degree in Fine Art with Manchester Art School. Currently my practice is concerned with the foibles of Humanity. I use a commercial process to convey an anti-commercial message. The main focus of my practice at the moment is to highlight the effect of Multinational and conglomerate practice on communities, cultural diversity and the natural environment. My work is heavily influenced by The London Underground's own poster campaign which has been in service for about 100 years. I like to use a combination of image and text and currently use the Johnston type-face within my work. For inspiration I currently look to Roman Cieslewicz, Tom Eckersley and Paul Catherall. This online portfolio also contains older work of mine and charts my progress as a visual artist and designer. |
