| Introduction | I am living an amazing life. I am in love with my family and have been privledged to serve in many areas. Spent most of my clinical practice career as a researcher for GlaxoSmithKline, and have carved out a different path in recent years. Working with populations who don't have access to health care is now my passion,...really, "one beggar showing another where to find bread". I'm pretty serious most of the time, but take life with a grain of salt. I've learned to laugh more, though, and think that most of what we do as human beings is pretty absurd and very ironic; I love observing human behavior and finding God in us. I'm in awe of anyone who, despite our "weirdness", is able to show compassion, love and selflessness toward others. I believe in trust and reliability and that just showing up is sometimes all that is needed. I know that we have no control and need to rely on God's amazing graces and mercies. Of this, I am absolutely certain. |
