Introduction Ray Goto is a cartoonist, illustrator and a professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design. When he isn’t explaining the difference between “Star Wars” and “Star Trek” to his wife, he’s teaching their five-year-old daughter how to throw a curve ball.
Interests I enjoy tennis, golf, cycling, and really just about any outdoor activity. I am a big fan of the old school illustrators, Dean Cornwell, Albert Dorne, Robert Fawcett, etc. And of course I enjoy comics, cartoons, animation, and all other sorts of "fanboy" material.
Favorite Movies Hard for me to pick a favorite movie, maybe "Raiders", I have quite a few. Although, I really only watch one show on television with any consistancy, . . .The West Wing.
Favorite Music I'm old. I still like the 80's. Only the good stuff-The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, OMD, Erasure, Book of Love, Soft Cell, The Clash, The English Beat, Violent Femmes, ABC, The Go-Go's, The Bangles, Berlin, Bananarama, The Boomtown Rats, David Bowie, Anything Box, Alphaville, YAZ, A-ha, INXS, Haircut One-Hundred, Echo and the Bunnymen, . . you get the idea.
