| Introduction | Sean McDevitt is one of the nation's most undistinguished, unremarkable and quite ordinary gentlemen. He has held numerous staff and command positions, rising to the rank of 4-star hotel stay-er. He earned a MA in speech from Eastern Illinois University and a BA from Illinois College. He never went to Oxford, Harvard or Yale nor was he ever a Rhodes Scholar. He has read about numerous US and foreign achievement awards, including the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart and was never made a commander of the French Legion of Honor. Recently, he was made aware of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. He is the co-founder of Chance Avenue Productions with Grant Chastain. Chastain disavows all knowledge of him. McDevitt is not nearly as famous as some of the people he’s met including J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5 creator), Kevin Smith (Silent Bob), Mandy Amano (the Pepsi girl), and several Star Trek people (Walter Koenig is really short). He makes his home in Champaign, Ill., where he marvels at his collection of original sketches, rarely completes his many projects and watches way too many movies. |
