| Introduction | I'm blogging, really, for no one else, but myself. I am grieving a great loss right now & can't seem to move forward. From the day of my loss, almost 4 months ago, I'm having difficulty functioning at a level that I find acceptable for myself. I have withdrawn socially. I feel emotionally traumatized. Spiritually, I'm afraid to pray. Physically, I have gained 10 pounds. While at home, I can't seem to do anything that needs to be done to maintain a reasonable living space. In short, I'm a mess. Being inspired by the movie, "Julie & Julia", I am starting to blog, not about cooking, but about specific books that I think may help to pull me out of this funk. I will try to blog consistently. Right now, I don't know if that will be everyday, every week, or less frequently. I guess we'll see. At times, it may vary. |
