| Introduction | In the early stage of the 1970s era, the school was located in PPU 2 Bt Jugra Banting. Later in the 1980s, it was moved to RMAF Butterworth sitting next to PPU 1 at that time and known as SEKTAHUD- Sek Pertahanan Udara. However as time goes by and the evolution of air defense move into next level, the school was again moved to a new place in 1995, present place and known as Sek Kawalan Pertahanan Udara or Air Defense School ADS under the umbrella of the PLKKL. Till today, standing tall and proud of its achievements rentlesly contributing towards meeting the scarce and proffesionals of the AD Controllers and Operators human resources capital which can never be found off shelf in the market or else where except HERE......a place where THEY are born......the ONLY place...and they deserve an appropriate and a recognition accordingly. As at today, PLKKL has be renamed officialy to Institut Pengurusan Ruang Angkasa(INSPRA) on Jan 2010. This mark another step foward for ADS to be continously relevant . (Mej AmranM RMAF) |
