Introduction | Growing up in a religious cult, the Move of God does not define me. It has however impacted my life in ways I am only beginning to understand. Receiving a graduate degree is a rare accomplishment for children raised in cults. I am working to change that. Recent projects have included foundng a nonprofit organization to educate and support youth with fewer resources. Move Forward is an organization I a created to support those in or from the Move. We provide assistance with investigations, legal support, connections for gathering evidence, and resources for social and healing support. I hope to finish a memoir, No Place Like Home in 2014. |
