| Introduction | Travellers’ Tales is an auction with a twist combining ceramics and the spoken word. It reflects the joint activities Phakama and Clayground will be offering this summer to young people from Tower Hamlets and their peers from across Europe. During the auction when you bid for an object, you will also be bidding to hear the story sellers have chosen to tell you. The event will bring together buyers and sellers from the worlds of ceramics and performance and will celebrate the role of ceramics in cultures the world over.
