Location	I live not far from Rotterdam, Zuid Holland, Netherlands
Introduction	I was born in Rotterdam in December, 1933, raised in Indonesia on the Isle of Java. During the war I was a prisoner of a Japanese concentration camp for women. After the war my parents, sisters and I returned to the Netherlands. I became a teacher, married, got three children and five grandchildren. One daughter lives in Australia, where I regularly visit her. My husband died in 1999 and has not seen our youngest grandchildren.
Interests	Reading, religion, travelling, photography, music, history, politics, geography, languages, biology psychology, anything but sports.
Favorite Movies	The Chosen, Gandhi, Amadeus, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility.
Favorite Music	Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart, Grieg, Celtic music, French chansons, the Beatles, Jazz, musicals
Favorite Books	All books by Chaim Potok, Daphne du Maurier, Tolkien, by Lewis, Jane Austin, Somerset Maugham, Charles Dickens
