Introduction	The Association was started by Sensei Vasant Singh, San Dan, in the month of Feb, 2010. It is the association's aim to spread the style of karate, developed by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama in India. Kyokushin Kaikan Karate remains the only style of Karate in the world which promotes full contact sparring with no protective gear. This is done to help the students to develop a tolerance towards pain and to help them become able to defend themselves in a realistic manner in a fight.
