| Introduction | This is Maria, conjourer of the part-fictional city of Babettopolis, where old objects are re-invented, the used undergoes transformation and yards of raw material are stored and labeled for eventual projects.. In Babettopolis reigns just about enough calculated disorder to guarantee constant production. 'Time' is what keeps eluding timekeepers in the polis, but 'Incentive' drives them on. The year is in part devoted to the collecting of 'unwanted(s)' from around the island to be later torn apart and re-worked as seen fit; then sold or given out on a whim. |
