| Introduction | Do you remember helping gather eggs, or watching your Grannie milk her cow? I do. I can remember how her answer to any “where is..?” question was “Over yonder…” Grannie had a special way about her. She could tinker around in the garden like I do for hours. Her strawberry jam was my all-time favorite. She loved animals of all sorts. She hatched many chicks in her incubator, enjoyed her geese, guineas, goats and their kids and her cows and calves, dogs and puppies.
